Our Shetland range is perfect for the minis including small ponies, goats, sheep and even pigs.

The walkthrough shelter is perfect for livestock to take a rest out of the rain or sun but still allows free movement.  This means livestock do not feel trapped, reducing the risk of injury due to being cornered in.

Customise your field shelter

Most of our Equi HUT mobile field Shelters can be customised to suit your needs with a range of additional extras. 

Wind blockers: These can be fitted to the opening of your Equi HUT, these give extra protection from driving rain and wind as it offers a little nook for your livestock to shelter in, they are also a great place to hang hay nets or put in a feeding station.

Gates: We can fit gates to the openings so that you can shut in your livestock if needed these work well if you need a separate feeding area, they are also useful for vet visits. 

Gate types: we would always recommend having a half mesh galvanised gate if you are using it for equine use or smaller livestock that may be able to push through the bars on a standard 5-bar field gate which are perfect for Alpacas and Llamas and larger sheep and goats. 

Kickboarding: Many customers choose kickboarding to add that extra bit of protection from damages being done to the external cladding, which is a less costly repair as the kickboard is an easy fix compared to replacing a section of external cladding. (Note we always recommend repairing any damages done as soon as possible as injuries may happen to your livestock)

Steel cladding: why not upgrade to steel cladding for less maintenance steel cladding is perfect for those that want little to no maintenance for their mobile field shelter, we use 0.7mm PVC coated steel sheets that is either box or corrugated profile (note we use a timber internal frame that is bolted and screwed on the outer steel frame.

Designed with convenience in mind, our field shelter is delivered to you fully built and ready for anchoring in position.  Installation can be completed in as little as 1-2 hours.

Fully mobile

All EquiHUT field shelters include an innovative skid system, allowing for easy towing to new locations. Whether you need to relocate due to changing grazing conditions or simply want to rearrange your setup, our integrated skid system makes life easier and you can be confident that moving your shelter will not damage it.

Five-year warranty

All Equi HUTs field shelters are covered by a five-year workmanship warranty, covering build quality. (*Warranty excludes animal and weather damage).

• 3×2 CLS Pressure-treated timber frame
• 4×2 C24 Pressure-treated centre roof purlin
• 22mm (Finishes 19mm) T&G redwood cladding
• Green PVC-coated 0.7mm steel curved roofing with anti-condensation lining
• All Steel work is hot dipped galvanised for frame and skids
• Steel frame 50×50 box section 3mm thick
• Steel skid system is 40×80 box section with 50×50 box section cross bars 3mm thick
• Optional extra if ordered is 11mm thick OSB used for kickboarding
• Fixings used are 70mm & 90mm coach screws with M10 bolts for framework
